Welcome to the Inaugural TEEMS International Touch Tournament – Hua Hin, Thailand

 

We are delighted to welcome you to the first-ever TEEMS Touch Tournament, hosted in the stunning seaside town of Hua Hin, Thailand.

This tournament has been created with one clear aim: to offer a high-quality, competitive, and inclusive experience for young athletes across the region. With teams joining us from across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond, we’re thrilled to be bringing together such a passionate and diverse community of players, schools, and clubs.

 

In partnership with Thailand Touch, the tournament will feature U14, U16, and U18 divisions, open to both mixed and single-gender teams. Across three exciting days of matches, players will compete in a format that includes group stages, a knockout round, and Cup, Plate, and Shield competitions ensuring that every team has the chance to play meaningful matches from start to finish.

The tournament will feature a dynamic, multi-stage format:

• Round-Robin and Pool Play: Teams will compete in group matches to determine rankings.

• Knockout Stage: Top teams from each pool will progress to the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and final.

• Tiered Finals: Teams will compete for Shield, Plate, and Cup honours based on their standings.

 

Each match will be played with 6 players on the field. Teams may register up to 12, 14, or 16 players, but only 14 may participate in any single match.

Hua Hin Arena and the Holiday Inn Resort provide the perfect setting, with professional playing fields, athlete facilities, and shaded viewing areas. The Holiday Inn includes unlimited access to the Vana Nava Water Park, offering a fun and refreshing break for players and staff.

Our vision is to establish one of the region’s foremost international school touch rugby tournaments, attracting teams from Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and beyond.

Spaces are limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Schools and clubs participating in this inaugural event will receive priority access to future editions.
