What is the TEEMS Hong Kong Future Learners Club?

A pioneering initiative in Hong Kong, the Future Learners Club integrates diverse activities within a concept-based learning framework. It is not solely about acquiring knowledge—it is about shaping the leaders of tomorrow. By fusing creativity with technology, sport, and critical thinking, we equip children with the skills required to flourish in a rapidly evolving world that demands both innovation and collaboration.

Led by a team of highly experienced international educators, this innovative approach is designed to maximise your child’s prospects for success in an ever-changing future.

How Does It Work in Practice?

Our programme ensures that your child acquires essential skills for tomorrow through engaging, hands-on experiences rather than through rote learning.

Examples of ‘Communication’ Lessons

  • Sport: Passing Accuracy Challenge (Team Game)

    • Students are divided into small teams. One member is blindfolded and positioned to receive a pass, while teammates provide clear verbal instructions to guide them effectively.

  • STEAM: Build a Bridge (Engineering Task)

    • In pairs, one student (the “builder”) constructs a small bridge using provided materials (e.g. straws and tape), while the other (the “communicator”) reads instructions without handling the materials. Precise communication is key to success.

  • Life Skills: Problem-Solving Puzzle Challenge

    • Working in pairs, students tackle a physical puzzle—whether assembling a jigsaw, unlocking a combination lock, or organising items in a specific sequence. Each student alternates as the “explainer” and the “doer”, relying solely on verbal communication.
