Paul Rotheram

Paul Rotheram is the Founder of TEEMS Global, and one of the region’s most experienced leaders in international school sport, camps, and large-scale student events. British-trained and Bangkok-based, Paul has spent over a decade working at the highest level of international education in Thailand, including as a Director of Sport and Activities, before launching TEEMS to deliver world-class experiences for schools across Southeast Asia and beyond.
Paul is best known for creating and leading major, trusted platforms that schools rely on—ranging from FOBISIA sporting tournaments and regional multi-sport events, to premium holiday camp programmes and specialist residential experiences. Through TEEMS Global’s growing network in Asia and the Middle East, he works closely with school leaders, partners, and venues to design programmes that are operationally excellent, safe, and genuinely impactful for young people—building confidence, character, and community through sport and experiential learning.
Michael Preston

With over 20 years of experience across international school sport, education, and student development, Michael is a highly respected leader in building meaningful global partnerships that deliver shared value. As a qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL), he ensures that student wellbeing underpins every partnership, programme, and commercial decision. His work spans high-performance academies, inclusive participation pathways, and holiday programmes that integrate sport, STEAM, and leadership development, designed not only to enrich student experience but also to support long-term partner engagement and brand alignment.
Through close collaboration with schools, federations, and commercial partners, Michael has consistently elevated programme quality while aligning stakeholder objectives to deliver sustainable, mutually beneficial outcomes. Drawing on influential governance experience as Chair of SEASAC (2021–2023) and a FOBISIA Executive Committee member (2016–2018), as well as his role as co-founder of RISAC in Riyadh and contributor to international school facility development, he strengthens regional collaboration and institutional growth through shared vision and strategic alignment.
Now leading Global Partnerships at TEEMS Global, he focuses on building long-term, high-impact partnerships that harmonise educational excellence with commercial strategy, delivering scalable programmes and measurable value for students, schools, and partners alike.
Samuel Thorley

Samuel Thorley brings over 20 years of international experience in education and athletic leadership, spanning the UK, China, Portugal, and Thailand. Having spearheaded impactful sports programs and large-scale events, Samuel transitioned into the professional sports sector as the owner and director of a successful football team in Thailand. This unique background—blending educational excellence with the rigors of professional sports management—allows him to guide projects from initial inception to sustainable, high-growth implementation.
At TEEMS, Samuel is dedicated to creating real-world impact through person-centered solutions. He collaborates closely with school leaders and global partners to ensure that every initiative delivers tangible opportunities for students, athletes, and education professionals alike. Driven by a genuine passion for the future of the industry, Samuel focuses on co-creating innovative strategies that foster long-term success for TEEMS and its diverse network of partners.
