The Junior Botball Challenge Asia is a continentalcontinental-level robotics eventcompetition designed to inspire students to develop essential skills in robotics, engineering, programmingcoding, and problem-solving.
As part of the international Junior Botball ChallengeJBC Challenge series, the event brings together students from across the region to collaborate, innovate, and challengecompete in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Participants are challenged to design, build, and programme robotic solutions to complete real-world inspired missions.
The Junior Botball Challenge places strong emphasis on creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking, while promoting the practical application of STEM knowledge. Through experiential learning, students develop confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of how technology can be applied to solve meaningful challenges beyond the classroom.

The entry fee is 3,000 THB (96.31 usd) per participant, based on team size:

Competition Levels
JBC offers three participation levels, allowing teams to choose a category that best matches their experience and confidence:

Rookie Level – Designed for beginners who are new to robotics competitions.

Advanced Level – For teams with prior experience and stronger technical skills.

Expert Level – For highly skilled teams ready to take on complex challenges.
