
Tournament Information
GENERAL INFORMATION
The FOBISIA Invitational competitions will provide participants with the opportunity to compete in gymnastics. The competition should provide equal opportunities for both genders in the appropriate age groups.
TEAMS

Schools can enter a maximum of 12 gymnasts in a level equivalent to two teams of 6. Schools must name the gymnasts participating in each team prior to the competition starting.

A team must consist of a minimum of three and no more than six gymnasts. The top three scores on each piece of apparatus will count for the team competition. Gymnasts may be entered as individuals if the school does not have enough gymnasts to form a team.

Schools are invited to submit both A and B teams for WAG Levels and MAG Levels.

Where both A and B teams are submitted, only the highest scoring team from that school may take a team award.
COMPETITION FORMATS

The FOBISIA Gymnastics Invitational Championships will cater to both MAG and WAG gymnasts.

WAG NDP: Women’s Artistic Gymnastics National Development Program 2022-2025 version 3.2 released January 2022, Levels 2-10.

MAG NDP: Men’s Artistic Gymnastics National Program 2022-2025 version 2.0 released January 2022, Levels 1-8.

MAG and WAG Technical Judges are provided by the Host Country Gymnastics Association - Singapore Gymnastics.
GYMNAST INFORMATION

Attire: All competing gymnasts are required to wear their club leotard and competition attire. Long hair should be tied back and jewellery removed. Teams should wear matching leotards and/or tracksuits at all times on the competition floor, this includes warm up and march-on.

Gymnast march on: Gymnasts must assemble 10 minutes before the competition start time for march-on and presentation.

Competition warm up: There will be a 1 hour warm up at the start of every session. Once competition has started we will follow the American-style warm-up format which allows gymnasts a one-touch 30 second warm up on each apparatus before competing.

Behaviour: All gymnasts are asked to behave appropriately and respectfully at all times during competition and when spectating.

Awards:
Awards will be presented at the end of every competition session with medals for the individual all-around competition and individual apparatus, and trophies with medals for the team competition.

Coaches information:

Two coaches per team per apparatus are permitted on the competition floor.

Gymnasts must be accompanied by a qualified coach at all times on the competition floor.

Floor music must be clearly labelled and submitted to the head score table before the start of each session. This can be on CD, ipod or USB stick.

Coaches must wear identical attire whilst on the competition floor.

There will be no additional bonuses for this competition, all routines and bonus elements will be judged strictly as per the rules in the programme manual.
