WAG LEVELS 2, 3 AND 4
Levels by age group* are defined as follows:

Level 2 Junior: 8 & under

Level 2 Senior: 9 & over

Level 3 Junior: 8 & under

Level 3 Senior: 9 & over

Level 4 Junior: 9 & under

Level 4 Senior: 10 & over

START POINTS
Start point values on each apparatus:-
Start value ≤ 10.00 if all requisite skills performed

E score = Total E deductions/2

Start value – (E score/2) = Final score

MUSIC
Music is compulsory for WAG NDP levels 3 and 4 on the floor exercise. WAG NDP Level 2 does not require music. If there are technical problems with the music during a performance of a floor routine then the gymnast must continue as normal and will be given the option to redo her routine. In this instance, the best score will count.

AWARDS
Awards will be presented in the WAG competitions in the following categories:-
Medals for individual all-around competition (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) and awards for 4th, 5th and 6th places in the form of ribbons

Medals for individual apparatus (1st, 2nd, and 3rd)

Team medals and trophy per level and age group (1st, 2nd and 3rd)

GIRLS LEVELS 5, 6, 7, and 8
Levels by age group are defined as follows:

Level 5: Open age (max. 2 teams)

Level 6: Open age (max. 2 teams)

Level 7: Open age (max. 2 teams)

Level 8: Open age (max. 2 teams)

*Only bonus skills awarded as set out in the programme manual, no additional bonus will be awarded for this competition.

D score = Total value of 6 skills (Level 7) or 7 skills (Level 8) as set out in the programme + composition requirements (5 requirements @0.5 each as set out in the manual)

E score = 10.00 - Total E deductions

Final score = D score + E score – neutral deductions

TECHNICAL
For Levels 5, 6, 7 and 8 there will be NO additional bonus skills, the competition will be judged exactly as set out in the programme manual with the exception of Level 5 and 6. At Levels 5 and 6 on floor gymnasts are permitted to work with optional music and choreography but with compulsory skills as set out in the manual (60-90 secs), on beam gymnasts are required to perform compulsory skills but are allowed optional choreography (max. 90 secs).

MUSIC
Music is optional for WAG NDP Levels 5 and 6; however, athletes utilizing the programme provided compulsory music must utilize the programme provided compulsory choreography or face penalty as stated in the programme. Levels 7-8 may have individual music for each athlete. Schools/clubs must label CDs clearly with name of school/club, name of gymnast and where possible gymnast number. Floor music must not contain lyrics and must not exceed 90 seconds.
