Junior Botball Challenge South East Asia 2026 – Singapore

The Junior Botball Challenge South East Asia is a national-level robotics eventcompetition designed to inspire students to develop essential skills in robotics, engineering, programmingcoding, and problem-solving.

 

As part of the international JBC Challenge series, the event brings together students from across the region to collaborate, innovate, and challengecompete in a dynamic, hands-on learning environment. Participants are challenged to design, build, and programme robotic solutions to complete real-world inspired missions.

 

The Junior Botball Challenge places strong emphasis on creativity, teamwork, and critical thinking, while promoting the practical application of STEM knowledge. Through experiential learning, students develop confidence, leadership skills, and a deeper understanding of how technology can be applied to solve meaningful challenges beyond the classroom.

Awards & Recognition

The entry fee is 1,941.11 THB (62.315 usd) per participant, based on team size:

  • 2 participants: 3,882.22 THB (124.63 usd) per team

  • 3 participants: 5,459.35 THB (175.26 usd) per team

 

Team Format

  • 2–3 students per team

  • Coach optional (one coach may support multiple teams)

Competition Levels

JBC offers three participation levels, allowing teams to choose a category that best matches their experience and confidence:

  • Rookie Level – Designed for beginners who are new to robotics competitions.

  • Advanced Level – For teams with prior experience and stronger technical skills.

  • Expert Level – For highly skilled teams ready to take on complex challenges.

Open to schools, tutoring centres, clubs, and independent teams.
Age range: 3–15 years
